Holistic sustainability was the main focus when Amber Vincent created Ruby Roof Farm in the summer of 2017. Amber’s desire to practice propagating nature's medicine without the use of herbicides and pesticides led her to excel in the local OSU master Gardener program. The thrill of learning quickly turned into a thriving passion. On less than one acre of garden space, Amber seasonally started with seeds, seedlings and cuttings, learning through every season from seed to harvest. As the plants grew, the love of herbal medicine blossomed. 

“Mullein was where it all started. The first time we used this magical herb medicinally, my family overcame the flu so quickly; I was hooked! Herbs contain so much value. The essence of the plant is contained, then passed onto us, creating health and wellness within. For thousands of years, everything our bodies need have existed in the environment around us. We knew that then, but these days, that knowledge is foreign.  I want to bring these healing properties back to the hands of our community.” -Amber Vincent
